BAM Sports GmbH is cooperating with the German Ice Hockey Federation (DEB). The aim of this joint engagement is to promote and enhance the infrastructure of ice hockey sports facilities throughout Germany. Although there are outstanding ice rinks and also a sufficient number of spectators in the highest divisions – it is important to build training grounds and smaller ice stadiums in order to secure the future of the sport in Germany. It is the only way to ensure that young talented players have sufficient opportunity to train as well as time on the ice and that clubs in the lower leagues can offer their fans enough amenities to make them want to come back for more.
That is the aim of the long-term project “Eisflächen für Deutschland” (ice rinks for Germany) currently being promoted by the DEB and BAM Sports. As one of the leading companies in Germany in the specialised sector of stadium and arena construction, BAM Sports has the required technical expertise. For its part, the DEB has the know-how when it comes to ice hockey, such as knowing the requirements for a good ice rink in conformance with the regulations of the world association. The result is a training hall designed according to a modular principle that can be built cost-efficiently and enables individual components to be added as required. This ice sports facility represents a currently unique contribution to effective and at the same time economic sports promotion. --> Download Brochure
